Page will be featuring as the Greek war Sinon in Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey'

Elliot Page — playing a Greek warrior in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film The Odyssey — shared a video to Instagram of a sparring session in a boxing ring. Page says he’s gotten “hooked” on the sweet science.

In a post on Instagram, Elliot Page — previously the actress Ellen Page prior to his transition — shared a shirtless photo and an accompanying video of him training in the ring.

The Odyssey actor Elliot Page shared a video of himself boxing, says he’s become addicted to the sport

“I’ve been incredibly fortunate to train with @coachnol. He’s a brilliant teacher, not just in the way he breaks down complex movements, but also in his strategic understanding of boxing and his thoughtful approach to the psychological side of the sport,” Page wrote on Instagram

“Training with Nolan has become an essential part of my life. If you’re in NYC and looking, I can’t recommend him highly enough. Just be warned, you may end up getting as hooked as I am. 🥊”

Later this month, Page will be featuring as the Greek war Sinon in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, marking his first film role since starring in Backstop and Close to You in 2023.

Page, back when he was still Ellen Page, previously collaborated with The Odyssey director Christopher Nolan on his iconic 2010 film Inception. Page publicly disclosed he was a lesbian in 2014 before transitioning in 2020.

Page’s most recent prominent role was on the Netflix series The Umbrella Academy, which worked his real-life gender transition into the series as a plot line.

His other most popular roles include Kitty Pryde in X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men: Days of Future Past and the title character in the 2007 Best Picture-nominated film Juno.
