Appearing in 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man and 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Stone’s portrayal of Stacy was perhaps one of the few redeeming qualities of those movies.
While Stone’s version of Stacy, unfortunately, perishes at the climax of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, that doesn’t mean that it’s the last that fans will see of her as the character as the Oscar winner recently shared a selfie that showed her sporting a haircut identical to the one worn by Stenfield’s version in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
The timing of Stone’s new haircut is made even more interesting when you consider the fact that Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was made available on digital platforms today — Tuesday, August 8.

The 34-year-old Stone — who won the Oscar for Best Actress for her work in 2016’s La La Land — will next be seen starring in Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things alongside Willem Dafore, Mark Ruffalo, Ramy Youseff, and Jerrod Carmichael, which hits theaters on December 8.
Additionally, Stone is attached to Lanthimos’ anthology film And the Showtime series The Curse, which was created by and will co-star Nathan Fielder. There are also talks of a sequel to her 2021 film Cruella.
