A failed robbery attempt, which took place at nail salon in Atlanta, went viral after patrons chose to simply ignore the robber.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, the incident was captured on surveillance footage, which was released to 11Alive on Thursday in an effort to help identify and locate the suspect.
The video shows a man entering the nail salon wearing a distinctive blue hat, sunglasses, and blue jeans. Immediately upon entering the establishment, the suspect demanded that everyone present get on the ground and hand over their money.
However, despite the aggressor’s threats, both the patrons and employees chose not to comply with his demands.

In the surveillance footage, most individuals remained in their positions, seemingly unfazed by the suspect’s actions.
One woman near the exit took the opportunity to leave while the suspect was occupied, demonstrating her resourcefulness and attempt to regain control of the situation.
Inside the nail salon, the suspect can be seen pacing briefly, his hand hidden inside a bag, as he assessed the situation. After a few moments, he decided to abandon his plans and leave the premises without any further confrontation.
The surveillance footage captures the suspect exiting the salon and fleeing the scene in a silver sedan.
The Atlanta Police Department is now seeking the public’s assistance in bringing the suspect to justice. They are urging anyone who recognizes the individual shown in the video or possesses any relevant information to come forward.
Authorities are particularly interested in any details that could help identify and locate the suspect.
