Livvy Dunne is the to-billed actress in the first 'Baywatch' trailer
Fox released the full trailer for its new Baywatch series, giving fans their best look yet at the Livvy Dunne-starring reboot. Dunne, the former LSU gymnast turned social media star, will be making her acting debut in the series.
According to Fox, Livvy Dunne will be playing Grace in the new Baywatch series, which is a character described as being a “zealous, full-of-life junior lifeguard.” The specific release date beyond January 2027 has not yet been confirmed.
While the part is a recurring role rather than that of a series regular, it’s still the first professional acting gig for Dunne, who retired from competitive gymnastics in April 2025 and has also modeled for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
Despite her role being recurring and not starring, Fox’s logline for the series lists Dunne as the top billed actor, suggesting the network thinks the social media star and model will be the show’s biggest driver of viewership.
“The bay just got a whole lot HOTTER! 🥵 Enjoy the official trailer for the brand new Baywatch series starring Livvy Dunne, Shay Mitchell, Noah Beck, Stephen Amell, Jessica Belkin, and more! The brand new series hits the beach January 2027!”
