Mexican actress and fitness influencer Barbara de Regil is getting ripped for doing a complete workout in the aisle of a plane mid-flight.

With over 9 million followers on Instagram and almost 13 million on TikTok, Barbara de Regil has obviously figured out what makes people want to follow her. This time around though, she may have made an error in judgement.

In a video, the influencer can be seen running in place in the aisle of the plan, right next to other passengers. Then she decided that she needed to add some jump squats to her pump.

Needless to say, a whole lot of people, many weary of dealing with people acting like fools on flights, didn’t appreciate Barbara de Regil’s effort to stay in shape.

“Put them on the No Fly list,” one person commented on X (Twitter).

“‘Influencers’ cancer to society,” someone else wrote.

“Garbage like this needs to be banned,” read another comment.

TMZ reports that despite all of the backlash, Barbara de Regil sees nothing wrong with working out in the aisle of a plane next to other passengers.

On Instagram, she reportedly said all she was trying to do was just trying to avoid thrombosis and blood clots after supposedly spending 35 hours in the air.

According to her filmography, de Regil’s most significant acting came as the title character in the TV series Rosario Tijeras, a role she played from 2016 to 2019. She also had the lead role in another series, Parientes a la fuerza, from 2021 to 2022.

As far as films go, she appeared in the 2022 film Blackout starring Josh Duhamel, Abbie Cornish, and Nick Nolte. And in 2023, she won the Mexican version of The Masked Singer.
