One Florida sheriff is issuing a stern threat to anti-ICE protestors. . For the past week, United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have launched raids on workplaces and warehouses across downtown Los Angeles, leading to protests across the country.
On Thursday, Florida’s top lawmakers held a press conference to address the protests.
Florida Attorney General Uthmeier warned that violence against ICE officers will not be tolerated.
“We’re not going to tolerate that in Florida. That is illegal in Florida. If we find you doing that, we will hold you accountable,” Uthmeier said.
During the presser, Brevard Country Sheriff Wayne Ivey issued his own stern warning to protesters.
“If you hit one of us, you’re going to the hospital and jail, and most likely get bitten by one of our big, beautiful dogs that we have here,” he said.”If you throw bricks or firebombs or point a gun at our officers, we will notify your family where to collect your remains because we will kill you, graveyard dead.”
Video of Ivey’s comments have gone viral on social media.
