Earlier this year, we brought you the story of Margot Robbie — whose production company LuckyChap Entertainment produced Barbie — wishing that she could have cast Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot in the film.
Perhaps hearing Robbie’s comments and trying to angle for a role in the sequel, Gadot appeared at the Los Angeles premiere of the film on Sunday night in a show-stopping brown dress.

Given Robbie’s obvious desire to work with Gadot and her presence at the premiere of the film, some movie fans began speculating that the 38-year-old Israeli actress could already be angling for a role in the sequel.

She also wasn’t the only celebrity to light up the pink carpet at the Barbie premiere, as Dua Lipa and her see-through dress also caused quite a stir on social media.
With Gadot no longer set to play the cinematic version of Wonder Woman in the newly rebooted DCU — which is a shame considering she’s legitimately awesome as the character in Batman v. Superman, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and 2017’s Wonder Woman — her schedule is certainly more open than it’s been in a few years.
Later this summer, Gadot will be starring in the action-thriller Heart of Stone, which will hit Netflix on August 11. She also recently had cameo roles in The Flash and Fast X, with the latter of the two seemingly teasing her inclusion in future films.
There are also reports that a sequel to Red Notice — apparently Netflix’s biggest-ever film, which stars Gadot, The Rock, and Ryan Reynolds — is in the works at the streamer.
Furthermore, Gadot will be playing the Evil Queen opposite Rachel Zegler in Disney’s live-action remake of Snow White, which is currently scheduled to hit theaters on March 22, 2024.
