As we all learned last week, we will have to wait until 2019 for the final season of HBO’s Game of Thrones to hit TV. This is going to be a very, very long wait for diehard fans of the most successful Fantasy series in TV history.

If you’re like me and need to get your Game of Thrones fix before the final season hits TV in 2019 but aren’t willing to re-read the books because they’re long and that’d take forever then you could consider taking a Game of Thrones tour in Iceland, or even better, you could stay at the Game of Thrones ice hotel in Finland.

The Lapland Hotels SnowVillage is about 90-minutes by plane from Helsinki and it’s an ice hotel collaboration with HBO Nordic. The ice hotel is a complex which spans over 20,000 square meters. There’s a chapel, bar, restaurant, and everything is made of snow and ice. There are white walkers. A statue of The Mountain, and a whole lot more.

I’m not sure I’d want to sleep in this bed. Not that it wouldn’t be cool to stay at this hotel, but do you really want this creepy ice sculpture looming over you during hotel sex?

Finland’s been super high on my list of countries to visit primarily because you can see the Northern Lights in Winter and seeing the Northern Lights last year in Iceland was one of the coolest experiences of my life, so I plan on seeing them again. After checking out this Game of Thrones-themed hotel, Finland has just skyrocketed on my list of places to visit.
