Munchies reports that several breweries are making this sparkly brew including Ska Brewing in Durango, Colorado; Three Weavers Brewing Company in Inglewood, California; and Bold Missy Brewery in Charlotte, North Carolina.

We all know the problems that glitter presents — trying for hours to get off your clothes after visiting the gentleman’s club. And that’s the exact reason why glitter beer might not take off. Glitter is extremely difficult to remove from brewing equipment.

Finally, what happens after drinking glitter beer? Is your piss glitter? Are your dumps sparkling like a diamond? The glitter is said to be edible and is made of different sugars and starches. Allegedly, the glitter breaks down in your body, but is consuming something that shimmery good for you? What happens if you spill your beer? That damn glitter problem is always there.
