This time of isolation has led everyone down a path of their own. For reasons unbeknownst to me, it seems like every fucking person I’ve ever met has been trying to bake bread for their first-time ever. I’m not trying to be a hater but if those people would’ve just gotten on the Great British Bake Off train a few years back they wouldn’t look like such jabronis right now showing off busted ass baked loaves on Instagram.
I have friends who are hiking mountains on the weekend, here in Florida the golf courses are still open and fishing + hunting is encouraged as long as social distancing is practiced. Some assholes are taking this time to try and learn a new language or skill and flex on the rest of us who are just trying to get through the damn day without the house of cards tumbling down.
Then there are the creative types like @nolankmn22 on Instagram who has been spending his downtime recreating famous characters from movies and TV.
