‘The Hooters Girls Have Rules’: Colorado Hooters Servers Call Out Guests Who Sit In Their Section. Then They Reveal The Top Faux Pas—And Why You Should Buy A Calendar

A team of Hooters servers shared their top tips for getting them to spend more time at the table. Others offered other tips and faux pas for customers to keep in mind when visiting the restaurant.

In a TikTok shared to Hooters Colorado’s page (@hooterscolorado), servers shared what they want customers to know before “sitting in [their] sections.”

The caption reads, “The Hooters girls have rules – and trust us, they’re hilarious.”

Can You Get Hooters Servers To Spend More Time At Your Table?

It’s not a secret that most guests who dine at Hooters don’t just go for the food, which has mixed reviews, as previously reported by BroBible. Many want to enjoy the company of the servers, who undergo training and mentoring to develop a great rapport with customers while sporting revealing outfits.

Caroline, one of the servers, shares that she gives special treatment to tables that purchase a calendar from her. Hooters publishes a calendar every year featuring photos of their servers in uniform.

The servers featured on the calendar often tour multiple locations, so fans of the restaurant can see them in person as they promote the release. Customers can purchase the calendars directly from their server or online.

Another server, Olivia, says that customers who purchase a shot of the top-shelf tequila brand Clase Azul will get “75% more” attention from her.

A server named Lana notes that tables who compliment her will get more “smiles,” but doesn’t share if they’ll get special treatment or more time with her.

The last Hooters worker, Seanelle, says she spends “20% more time” with tables that bring their pet dogs. Although it’s hard to say if she’ll spend more time chatting with guests or petting the dog.

“Follow the rules, and we’ll get along just fine,” they say at the end of the clip.

Are There Any Faux Pas When Dining At Hooters?

While the Colorado Hooters team shares how to get more attention, other Hooters servers on Reddit share what not to do.

Servers on the subreddit r/AskReddit suggest that the number one way to get on their bad side is to be overtly creepy or make inappropriate remarks to them. However, many say they aren’t bothered by guests checking them out politely.

“As someone who works at Hooters, just treat us like people and tip well. I hardly notice people looking at my boobs because it happens so much, but don’t stare or be weird about it,” one shared.

A second suggested, “Absolutely do not make any comments/physical interactions/anything that might be seen as creepy.”

“It’s not called ‘Stare at these chicks tits awkwardly’ however. Enjoy a glance, but don’t sit there looking like Bubbles,” a third joked.
