Inde Navarrette has reportedly turned down multiple offers in recent months

When the year began, 25-year-old actress Inde Navarrette was best known for a supporting role on The CW series Superman & Lois. Now she’s turning down roles alongside the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale.

According to reports, Obsession breakout star Inde Navarrette has declined multiple seven-figure offers in recent months since the release of Curry Barker’s $750,000 horror film she headlined. Obsession has gone on to gross nearly $500 million worldwide, making it one of the most remarkable box office stories in Hollywood history.

Inde Navarrette turned down Heat 2 and multiple seven-figure offers to play Rogue in the MCU’s X-Men reboot

Page Six reports that Navarrette has recently passed on a role Michael Mann’s Heat 2 — reportedly the role of Charlene, played by Ashley Judd in original 1995 film — alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale, and a $2.5 million horror project directed by Matthias Hoene.

A Hollywood producer told the New York Post‘s entertainment branch that Navarrette is now “regularly turning down mid-seven-figure offers.”

Navarrette has taken on one role in the wake of the success of Obsession and its a massive one: the iconic mutant Rogue in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming X-Men film, which is dated to release in 2028.

Alongside Navarrette at Rogue, Jake Schreier’s X-Men will also star Adam Driver as Mister Sinister, Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, and Maya Boyd as Storm. Her decision to take on X-Men as her next project is unsurprising considering is gives her job security for the next decade, if not longer, as the group will likely be the center of the Marvel Cinematic Universe when it’s effectively rebooted following the release of Avengers: Secret Wars in 2028.

Despite not having any other major projects releasing this year, Navarrette will likely remain in the spotlight as reports indicate that Obsession distributors Focus Features is mounting a Best Actress Oscar campaign for her.
