Jennifer Lopez’s past connections to disgraced rapper and producer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs have the pop star “running scared,” according to reports.
Video obtained by various gossip outlets, such as The Daily Mail and Page Six, shows the “Jenny from the Block” singer ignoring questions about Diddy, whom she dated from 1999 to 2001.
While the pair were dating, they were taken into police custody for questioning about a shooting at a New York City nightclub after authorities found a gun in the car they fled the scene of the shooting in.
Lopez’s first husband, former actor Ojani Noa, also claims that Diddy was partially responsible for the pair getting divorced.
“Following a screening for her new film Unstoppable in Los Angeles on Oct. 26, Lopez stepped out to sign autographs for fans, when a woman asked, ‘Do you have any comments about P. Diddy?’ The singer appeared as if she did not hear the question, and quickly exited with a bodyguard,” Page Six reports.
According to the New York Post, a similar situation unfolded with Lopez the prior week, who again ignored the question.
“Lopez was also seen in a separate video surrounded by a group of photographers outside of LA hotspot Funke after she went to dinner with her manager, Benny Medina, on Oct. 19. A paparazzo asked her at that time, ‘Hey Jennifer, do you have anything to say about the P. Diddy situation?'”
The videos from Daily Mail and Page Six are back by reports from RadarOnline, who spoke to an an alleged inside source that claimed Lopez is “on the run” from answering questions about her past relationship with Diddy, and even reportedly fears being called as a witness in Diddy’s trial that’s set to begin next May.
“Jennifer knows everyone is asking what she knew about Diddy – and it’s clear she’s on the run from answering any of it,” a source told RadarOnline in an article claiming Lopez is “running scared” from her links to Diddy.
“Her links to him resurfacing are a PR disaster for her, and damaging her own health… But sooner or later she is going to have to sit down and say what she knew – as she could even be called as a witness at Diddy’s trial.”
Lopez has already been through the PR wringer this year due to her divorce from Ben Affleck, as a the pair officially called it quits in August after getting married in July 2022.
