Marvel Cinematic Universe star Jeremy Renner recently shared the extreme variety of rehab he’s undergone since his near-fatal snowplow accident back on January 1.

Taking to Instagram, the 52-year-old actor revealed that he’s explored “every type of therapy” such as “physical therapy, peptide injections, IV drips and pushes, stem cell and exosomes, red light / IR therapy, hyperbaric chamber 2.0 atmospheres, cold plunge.”

“I have been exploring EVERY type of therapy since Jan 14th,” Renner wrote on Instagram earlier this week. “Everyday, countless hours of physical therapy, peptide injections, IV drips and pushes, stem cell and exosomes, red light / IR therapy, hyperbaric chamber 2.0 atmospheres, cold plunge, and the list goes on and on.”

Renner says, however, that the most important rehabilitation is the one his mind has gone through.

“But my greatest therapy has been my mind and the will to be here and push to recover and be better. Be exceptional… I feel it’s my duty to do so. Not to squander my life being spared, but to give back to my family, friends, and all of you whom have empowered me to endure. I thank you all.”

On New Year’s Day, the 52-year-old Renner was hospitalized for multiple weeks after suffering over 30 broken bones after he was run over by his snowplow, which weighs upwards of 14,000 pounds.

The last time that Renner appeared in a live-action film (not counting voice roles) was in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.

Since then he’s been starring in the Paramount+ series Mayor of Kingstown — which was officially renewed for a third season back in September — and the Disney+ reality series Rennervations. He also featured in the Marvel series Hawkeye on Disney+ back in 2021.

Other than Mayor of Kingstown, Renner is not currently set to star in any other films or shows. Given that his Hawkeye character is alive and well in the MCU, though, he could pop up in that franchise at any time.
