Here is your first look at the second season of Jessica Jones and we have a release date. The second season will feature 13 episodes as Krysten Ritter’s character Jessica Jones working as a private investigator to find out people’s secrets, but maybe she will discover one of her own hidden enigmas. Based on the teaser trailer, the next season appears to have plenty of sarcasm, punching, and drinking.

New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave. Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.
When we last saw Jessica Jones, she escaped from the destruction of Midland Circle and was having a drink with Luke Cage at the end of The Defenders. We don’t know if Jones will acknowledge the events of Marvel crossover. We do know that Jessica will delve into her history with Roxxon and try to find out how she got her superpowers. And she has no patience for speeches by Spider-Man’s Uncle Ben about “great power, great responsibility.” Jessica Jones returns for a second season on March 8, 2018.
