On Thursday, TMZ published a video of embattled actor Jonathan Majors apparently breaking up a fight between two female high school students.
The video immediately raised suspicions in the pop culture world, as Major is set to go to court today, Friday, September 15, to begin a trial that stems from accusations of assault, strangulation, and harassment by his ex-girlfriend.
One person even pointed out that searching for the term “Jonathan Majors beat up girl” will now likely yield tons of results about this apparent fight instead of the accusations made against him.

This Twitter user was far from alone in their suspicions, as there have been tons of viral tweets that have popped up in the hours since the video was released that call its validity into question.

Something similar unfolded in the sports world earlier this month, as many football insiders suspected that the Saudi Pro League was throwing money at Liverpool star Mohamed Salah in an effort to temper headlines about the recent execution of a man over his tweets.
Prior to the allegations, Majors was on a course to becoming one of the biggest actors in the world thanks to performances in films such as Hostiles, White Boy Rick, The Last Black Man in San Francisco, Da 5 Bloods, and The Harder They Fall.
In recent years, though, Majors’ fame took a massive leap forward after he was cast as Kang the Conqueror, who is set to be the next “big bad” in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after Thanos.
Majors made his debut as a version of the character in season one of the Disney+ series Loki before being heavily featured as the antagonist of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which hit theaters back in February.
In addition to Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Majors also starred as the villain in Creed III this year, which was a duo of roles that seemingly raised his profile to another level. Just a few weeks after Creed III hit theaters, however, Majors was arrested in relation to the above allegations.
Since his March arrest and subsequent charges, the 34-year-old has maintained his innocence.
