A prison inmate just won his $100 million lawsuit which claimed Sean Combs, AKA Diddy, drugged and sexually assaulted him at a party in Detroit in 1997.

Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith, 51, a prisoner currently being housed in the Earnest C. Brooks Correctional Facility in Muskegon Heights, claimed in a preliminary court hearing that Diddy offered him $2.3 million dollars to dismiss the lawsuit, but he rejected it. Smart move.

Because when Diddy failed to appear at a virtual hearing on the lawsuit on Monday, Lenawee county circuit court judge Anna Marie Anzalone had no other choice but to award Cardello-Smith a default judgment of $100 million.

Judge Anzalone also set up a payment schedule for Diddy to pay Cardello-Smith: 10 monthly installment payments of $10 million each beginning on October 1.

Cardello-Smith had shown in the lawsuit that Diddy had visited him while he was incarcerated via the music producer’s name appearing in a prison visitation log.

Anzalone had also previously issued an order restraining Combs from selling off assets that could help him pay out any damages awarded to Cardello-Smith, the Detroit Metro Times reported.

Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith’s lawsuit is just one in a growing string of lawsuits that have recently been filed against Sean Combs.

Another current prison inmate and member of the Mexican Sinaloa Cartel sued Diddy in August for allegedly “tarnishing his reputation” in New York City’s criminal underworld.

Earlier this year, music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones filed a $30 million lawsuit against Diddy which accused him of “knowingly and intentionally participated in, perpetrated, assisted, supported, facilitated a sex-trafficking venture.”

Back in March, Department of Homeland Security agents along with local law enforcement agencies raided performed raids on Sean Combs’ homes in Miami, Florida, and New York City.

The raids were part of an investigation into accusations of lacing the alcohol of underage girls, sexual assault, sex trafficking, rape, racketeering, forcing people into sex acts, and blowing up Kid Cudi’s car.

So far, however, he hasn’t been charged with any crimes. Perhaps that is because he has been an FBI informant for years?

Update: Statement from Marc Agnifilo, attorney for Sean Combs: “This man is a convicted felon and sexual predator, who has been sentenced on 14 counts of sexual assault and kidnapping over the last 26 years. His resume now includes committing a fraud on the court from prison, as Mr. Combs has never heard of him let alone been served with any lawsuit. Mr. Combs looks forward to having this judgment swiftly dismissed.”
