Sean Combs is at the center of a bombshell lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie. The R&B singer, who was once signed to his label, accuses him of consistent rape and abuse.

Casandra Venture filed suit in the Federal District Court in Manhattan on Thursday. She claims that Combs “began a pattern of control and abuse that included plying her with drugs, beating her and forcing her to have sex with a succession of male prostitutes while he filmed the encounters” not long after they first met in 2005. Combs allegedly forced his way into Ventura’s home and raped her in 2018, near the end of their relationship.

Full details of the lawsuit were first reported by the New York Times.

Did Sean Combs blow up Kid Cudi’s car?

One of the many alleged incidents listed in the filing dates back to 2012. It involves a beef between Sean Combs and Scott Mescudi, best known as Kid Cudi.

At the time, ‘Bossip’ said that “Kid Cudi went behind Diddy’s back and hooked up with his girl Cassie a couple months ago.” The celebrity gossip site went on to say that “Cudi has allegedly been spitting game at Cassie for a while and took advantage of her while she was in a vulnerable state.”

Seven months later, Bossip shared that Combs and Mescudi “got into a nice little fight at Club Trousdale in Hollywood.” They supposedly “exchanged some heated words to the point where the entire club was watching — creating a huge scene” after the unknowing club owner “decided to sit Diddy down next to Cudy.”

Bossip was the first site to report the spat. True or not, there was tension between the two.

According to Cassie’s new lawsuit, the beef boiled over during Paris Fashion Week in February 2012.

Ventura says in the lawsuit that Combs retaliated against Mescudi after learning that she and he were dating or had dated. Diddy allegedly grew so angry that he threatened to blow up Kid Cudi’s car.

[…] he wanted to ensure that Kid Cudi was home with his friends when it happened.

Around that time, Kid Cudy’s car exploded in his driveway.

Mescudi confirmed Ventura’s account through a spokeswoman and said “this is all true.”

Combs has yet to respond to the allegations.
