Jurassic Park became the highest-grossing film released worldwide back in 1993 and ended up earning $983.8 million worldwide. The film about the dangers of dino DNA was based on the 1990 novel of the same name by Michael Crichton and directed by Steven Spielberg.

The original Jurassic Park spawned The Lost World: Jurassic Park in 1997, Jurassic Park III in 2001, Jurassic World in 2015, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in 2018. There will be a Jurassic World 3 in 2021. The Jurassic Park franchise has made nearly $5 billion in the worldwide box office.

Jurassic Park returns to the silver screen on September 16, 18, and 19, to celebrate the classic film’s 25th anniversary. The reanimation of the dinosaur movie will go down at 500 theaters across North America. You can get tickets at Fathom Events.
