Actor Kevin Spacey‘s sprawling Baltimore home was sold at a public auction in front of the Baltimore Circuit Court last month for $3.24 million which was a steal considering it was purchased in 2017 for more than $5.6 million.

It is a 2-unit waterfront condo with 9,000 square feet in the luxurious Pier Homes at Harborview complex and it was purchased by a real estate investor from Bethesda named Sam Asgari. Now, according to reports, Kevin Spacey is refusing to move out after the property was sold and is demanding 6 free months living there in order to move out on his own terms.

Here is a look at the sprawling luxury properties:

Former biomedical engineer turned real estate investor Sam Asgari told The Baltimore Banner “right now, he’s refusing to leave. He’s asking for six months to leave the property without paying anything.” Edward U. Lee III, an attorney representing Kevin Spacey, responded to the accusation saying “the accusation by Mr. Asgari is false” but didn’t elaborate any further.

Over the weekend, Asgari told the Baltimore Sun “we’re trying to negotiate a move out date. He was going to leave in six months, but it costs so much money to keep that condo.”

Nothing about this is normal. You don’t sell a house (lose a house?) at auction and then stick around to demand 6 free months of living while you comfortably mosey your way out of there.

Where things get interesting is Kevin Spacey previously revealed to Piers Morgan in an interview that after losing his Baltimore mansion, claiming he was millions of dollars in debt, that he didn’t know what he would do next. Spacey told Morgan “I’m not quite sure where I’m going to live now.” That doesn’t exactly bode well for Kevin as he’s publicly admitted to not having a place to live.

Previously, the monthly mortgage payments on this Baltimore mansion were $20,230 which the various local newspapers claim Kevin Spacey was unable to keep paying after being fired from House of Cards all while racking up a mountain of legal fees.

It remains to be seen what happens next. Meanwhile, Spacey has landed a new movie role while some Hollywood A-Listers are campaigning for him to be welcomed back to the industry.
