Picking up a to-go pizza only to have it cool down by the time you get home is disappointing. However, one woman from Kansas City, Mo., says her Little Caesars pizza was so hot it was smoking in the front seat of her car.
In a video with over 2.6 million views, TikToker Keisha (@keishakirby5) shows two boxes of Little Caesars pepperoni pizza sitting in the passenger’s seat next to her.
Pillars of steam rise from the front of the box.
“That’s how the f— your Little Caesars is supposed to come out. It ain’t even cold out,” she says.
Keisha lifts the lid to reveal a perfect, still-piping-hot pizza.
Is Little Caesars Pizza Always Hot?
One of the pizza chain’s unique selling points is its “Hot-N-Ready” pizzas, which are advertised as steaming, fresh, and ready for customers to pick up upon arrival.
While Keisha shared her excitement about the hot pizza she picked up from Little Caesars, other customers on social media say they haven’t had the same luck. On Reddit, customers share varying degrees of success in scoring a hot pizza.
“Most of the time it’s warm and ready, make sure they give you a good one before walking out of the store,” one said in the r/NoStupidQuestions subreddit.
Another wrote, “You can walk in, and get in a pizza without waiting in most cases. (Very rarely, if there’s been a rush, you may have to wait a few minutes for them to restock.) That being said, it’s not the best pizza, but it’s cheap and fast.”
“I was in a little Caesar’s trying to get a pizza but the lady in front of me was raising hell because her pizza was too hot,” a third shared on r/LittleCaesars.
What Did Viewers Think of the Steaming Hot Pizza Boxes?
In the comments, viewers salivated over the pizza Keisha picked up, saying they wish steaming hot pizza was standard.
“I order online on my phone and wait in the parking lot until its ready. I need it straight from the oven,” a commenter wrote.
“HOT & READY, cause any other time they be false advertising,” a second remarked.
“One of them boxes mines right,” a third commented.
Others joked about the smoking coming from the boxes, wondering how she scored such a hot pizza.
“Pizza finna melt through the seat,” one said.
Another asked, “Is there a stove on your seat bc… how?!”
“D— was u the one who cooked it,” a third joked.
“You gotta eat it on the way home or it’s gone taste like the box,” a fourth viewer warned.
