The dismal marketing campaign for The Mandalorian & Grogu continued this week as a clip from the film was released and is drawing negative comparisons to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

A new clip from The Mandalorian & Grogu showing Din Djarin, Grogu, and a companion racing across desert dunes in a speeder while evading blaster fire — with Grogu characteristically interfering with the controls — has gone viral on social media for its ugly aesthetics and bottom-barrel dialogue.

The latest teaser for The Mandalorian & Grogu has left Star Wars fans feeling disgusted, say it looks worse than The Rise of Skywalker

The Mandalorian & Grogu is going to be the first Star Wars movie in seven years, since the release of The Rise of Skywalker, which is widely considered to be an outright disaster.

Still, for as reviled as The Rise of Skywalker, Star Wars fans actually think that The Mandalorian & Grogu looks WORSE.

Hitting movie theaters in less than a month, anticipation for The Mandalorian & Grogu seems to be bottoming out, with fans accusing the film of just being a handful of episodes from the Disney+ series mashed together to create a movie.

In addition to Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin / The Mandalorian, The Mandalorian & Grogu also stars Jeremy Allen White, Sigourney Weaver, Jonny Coyne, Steve Blum, and Martin Scorsese in the voice role of an Ardennian shopkeeper.

Check out the official synopsis and trailer for The Mandalorian & Grogu ahead of its May 22 release date below.

“The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu.”
