The dismal marketing campaign for The Mandalorian & Grogu continued this week as a clip from the film was released and is drawing negative comparisons to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
A new clip from The Mandalorian & Grogu showing Din Djarin, Grogu, and a companion racing across desert dunes in a speeder while evading blaster fire — with Grogu characteristically interfering with the controls — has gone viral on social media for its ugly aesthetics and bottom-barrel dialogue.
The latest teaser for The Mandalorian & Grogu has left Star Wars fans feeling disgusted, say it looks worse than The Rise of Skywalker
The Mandalorian & Grogu is going to be the first Star Wars movie in seven years, since the release of The Rise of Skywalker, which is widely considered to be an outright disaster.
Still, for as reviled as The Rise of Skywalker, Star Wars fans actually think that The Mandalorian & Grogu looks WORSE.
No Star Wars films for 7 years, and this is what they roll out for the grand comeback? Almost a humiliation ritual at this point. https://t.co/kn44RIdayd

I fundamentally believe the Rise of Skywalker is the worst blockbuster movie of all time, but man, that heaping pile of trash at least looked like an actual movie. https://t.co/7Z3Ohj7WZz pic.twitter.com/EVQ1GlnHYR

Hitting movie theaters in less than a month, anticipation for The Mandalorian & Grogu seems to be bottoming out, with fans accusing the film of just being a handful of episodes from the Disney+ series mashed together to create a movie.
How does it look worse than this from 50 years ago? https://t.co/7DRq5onX4g pic.twitter.com/QirtkCQ4c2
