Margot Robbie has been showing up to the various Barbie premieres in outfits that are identical to the ones the iconic doll has worn over the years.

At the European premiere of Barbie late last week, Robbie dropped jaws and blew minds — and thoroughly defeated the blasphemous “mid” allegations — as she showed up dressed as Enchanted Evening Barbie.

It should also be noted that the event took place before the actors’ strike began over the weekend.

After months of hype, Barbie — which is expected to make around $100 million at the domestic box office during its opening weekend — will be released in movie theaters in the United States this Friday, July 21, which is famously the same day that Christopher Nolan’s World War II historical epic Oppenheimer releases.

Alongside the Academy Award-nominated Robbie as the titular Barbie, the Greta Gerwig-directed film also stars Ryan Gosling as Ken. Additional Barbie cast members include the likes of Issa Rae, Simu Liu, Emma Mackey, Kingley Ben-Air, Dua Lipa, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Rhea Perlman, Will Ferrell, John Cena, Michael Cera, Helen Mirren, and more.

According to early reviews of the filmBarbie lives up to the hype with Ryan Gosling’s performance as Ken, in particular, being hailed as scene-stealing.

Barbie isn’t the only movie you can catch Margot Robbie in this summer, as she also has a brief yet extremely memorable appearance in Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City. Robbie also had recent roles in the 2022 films Amsterdam and Babylon, although both were massive financial disappointments.
