Mark Wahlberg is considered to be one of the most in-shape Hollywood actors, but for Marky Mark, he is consistently trying to improve his already impressive physique. In the last year, especially in the last six months, Wahlberg has utilized a healthy diet and exercise regiment to achieve an extraordinary body transformation.

On Thursday, Wahlberg posted a new photo on his Instagram showing off his abs and biceps. The actor captioned the photo: “Six months of Performance Inspired Nutrition, Aquahydrate, and F45 training!! Clean eating. Inspired to be better, team training / life-changing.”

Mario Lopez commented on the photo: “BEAST!”

On September 6th, Wahlberg said he was 68 days “dry” and had “no alcohol.”

In August, the 48-year-old Wahlberg shared another shirtless pic with the hashtag #ageisjustanumber. He credited his insane body by going on a “45-day challenge” and said he skipped having wine for 54 days.

In July, Wahlberg said he was missing F45 Training Sherman Oaks, which is a 45-minute “functional” high-intensity circuit training that exercises his entire body with squatting, jumping, pushing, and kicking.

In July, Wahlberg gave insight into his celebrity workout.

“My workouts start with RAMP, which stands for range of motion, activation, and movement prep — things like Spiderman stretch and hip bridges, plus foam rolling,” Wahlberg said of his workout. “Then we switch between bilateral and unilateral strength moves using mostly heavy bands, TRX, dumbbells, and kettlebells. The lower body work includes balance and agility drills.”

But hitting the gym consistently also needs the proper mentality. “It’s hard to fill a cup that’s already full,” the father of four said. “I tell myself that a lot—it’s a willingness to evolve, to empty out what isn’t working and try new things. I want to seize my 1 percent.”

Wahlberg’s exercise routine is grueling, he wakes up at 2:30 a.m. and is at the gym by 3:40 a.m. He tries to get a round of golf in at 6:30 a.m. then goes to work by 8:30 a.m. But then he also goes for a second workout at 4 p.m. so that he can be free to have dinner by 5:30 p.m. and then goes to bed around 7 p.m. according to Men’s Journal.

Here is what Wahlberg looked like in April.

A video from last December shows the body transformation that Wahlberg has made in the previous year, and it is pretty incredible. Not saying he wasn’t already in great shape last year around this time, but he is much more jacked only months later. Guess we might have to give up alcohol to enjoy these kinds of gains.
