Mark Wahlberg was spotted in Clemson this weekend working out with the Tiger football team. The actor was in his element as he hit campus for a Parents Day trip.
Wahlberg’s daughter attends the university, giving him a chance to both see the sights on gameday and speak to Dabo Swinney’s bunch. His on-brand visit quickly went viral on social media.
Marky Mark was spotted hanging around the football program ahead of the team’s most recent matchup with Florida Atlantic. He had a chance to address the group in a team meeting over the weekend.
He then got an opportunity to flex his muscles in a workout session.

To absolutely no one’s surprise, Wahlberg immediately ripped his shirt off in that team workout, which he posted to his Instagram page.
“You need a walk-on?” the actor quipped mid-lift before hopping front and center to pose with the team. Of course, he might’ve been amped up from a pre-workout speech given by head coach Dabo Swinney.
“You got me f—ing fired up, coach!!… Next stop national championship!”

Some of the Clemson players spoke about meeting Wahlberg after the fact, including quarterback Cade Klubnik.
“One of the best days of my life… I had to get a picture,” the passer said.
The trip didn’t end with the football team visit, though. He was later seen tailgating with fans and handing out drinks at the local bars.

The actor was living his best life in Clemson, tailgating with Tiger fans a day before the game.
He even got behind the bar to serve drinks to thirsty patrons. “Clemson was ROARING,” he said in an Instagram post Saturday.

Mark Wahlberg’s presence must’ve had an impact because the Tigers looked “Invincible” on Saturday. Clemson left with a 48-14 victory and a number of those around the program got the story of a lifetime thanks to the actor’s visit.
