In the newly released book Marvel Studios: The Marvel Cinematic Universe An Official Timeline, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige seemingly teased that alternate Marvel timelines will be converging into the MCU imminently.

According to Feige’s foreword in Marvel Studios: The Marvel Cinematic Universe An Official Timeline, which he presented as a “hint, hint/spoiler alert”, fans “never know when timelines may just crash or converge.”

Given the events of Loki, which is currently airing its second season on Disney+, and the upcoming release of Deadpool 3 — which is set to feature Hugh Jackman as Wolverine for the first time in the MCU — that converging and/or crashing of timelines could be happening in the coming months.

“On the Multiverse note, we recognize that there are stories — movies and series — that are canonical to Marvel but were created by different storytellers during different periods of Marvel’s history,” Feige writes.

“The timeline presented in this book is specific to the MCU’s Sacred Timeline through Phase 4. But, as we move forward and dive deeper into the Multiverse Saga, you never know when timelines may just crash or converge (hint, hint/spoiler alert).”

While Loki and its timeline-altering shenanigans is currently in the midst of its second season, it’s unclear when Deadpool 3 will be released due to the ongoing actors’ strike. Originally slated to release on May 3, 2024, Deadpool 3 was forced to shut down production due to the strike and has since delayed its release date. All signs indicate the film will still be released next year, however.

Marvel Studios’ The Marvel Cinematic Universe An Official Timeline is now available wherever books are sold for about $45.
