Shamrock Shakes are back at McDonald’s!

There’s just one major issue.

The fast food giant suffered system failures across the globe that shuttered many restaurants for hours on Friday.

Chicago-based McDonald’s Corp. said the problems were not related to a cybersecurity issue.

“We are aware of a technology outage, which impacted our restaurants; the issue is now being resolved,” the burger giant said in a statement. “We thank customers for their patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.”

Early in the morning in the U.S, McDonald’s in Japan posted on Twitter, that “operations are temporarily out at many of our stores nationwide,” calling it “a system failure.”

The website Downdetector also reported a spike in problems with the McDonald’s app early on Friday morning.

McDonald’s did get things up and running eventually in several major cities such London, Milan and Bangkok. But the company did not say if the issue was resolved worldwide and Downdetector is still showing some issues with the app.

To this point, noted McDonald’s menace “The Hamburglar” has not been connected to the potential crime. The longtime burger thief has often been connected with heists surrounding the fast food behemoth. Though he’s never actually been found guilty of any beef-related crimes.

McDonald’s Global System Crash Comes With Convenient Timing

This incident comes on the same day that the federal government opted to finally look into McDonald’s seemingly always broken ice cream machines.

Is all just one big coincidence? Probably!

Or maybe that’s just what they want you to believe, and McDonald’s is operating a decades-long McFlurry-related scandal.

Whomst can say?!

Maybe we’ll get New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers on the case. This type of conspiracy theory seems exactly up his alley. And it’s significantly less harmful than many of the other ones he’s espoused in recent weeks.
