While speaking at a Donald Trump rally on Sunday ahead of the inauguration on Monday, former journalist Megyn Kelly took a shot at Jennifer Lopez’s failed marriages. Lopez and ex-husband Ben Affleck got married in 2024 after two years of marriages.

During her remarks at a Trump rally on Sunday, Megyn Kelly — whom Trump previously and famously called “nasty” and alluded to her personality being influenced by her menstrual cycle during his first presidential campaign in 2016 — decided to take an unprovoked shot at the 55-year-old pop star and actress.

Kelly was seemingly angry at Jennifer Lopez for having a different political opinion than hers, leading to the comments about her failed marriages. In addition to Affleck, Lopez has also gotten divorces from Marc Anthony, Ojani Noa, and Cris Judd. Kelly has also been previously divorced from her first husband Daniel Kendall in 2006.

“Speaking of J. Lo, how happy are you [that] her candidate lost? It’s so delightful. These Hollywood celebrities who get up there and try and tell us how to vote—really? I mean like those celebrities who know nothing about anything,” Kelly said at a Trump rally on Sunday.

“All J. Lo knows about what to do is ruin marriages. She’s an expert in that. Why did she have to try and ruin the country too? So goodbye J. Lo, it didn’t work out for you.”

Earlier this month, Lopez’s new film Unstoppable — a biopic about one-legged former NCAA champion Anthony Robles — began streaming on Prime Video. Lopez starred in the film alongside Jharrel Jerome, Don Cheadle, Bobby Cannavale, and Michael Pena. She’s also set to star in an adaption of the Broadway play Kiss of the Spider Woman alongside Diego Luna, with the film being produced by Affleck’s production company Artists Equity.
