Miami is known for its nightlife. Loud music, packed clubs, and people spilling out onto the streets in the middle of the night. It’s the kind of city where the parties never really stop.
It’s not unusual for Miami clubs to pull in numbers that sound straight out of a movie. But one longtime bartender at LIV Miami says even she was shocked by what she once witnessed on the job.
LIV Miami Bartender Reveals Insider Secrets
TikTok creator Chloe (@everest_aesthetics) posted a video while getting ready for work, giving viewers a peek into her life at one of the most exclusive clubs in the country.
The video, which racked up more than 320,000 views, had commenters in disbelief over the kind of money moves that can be made.
“I bartend at LIV in Miami,” she says. “People ask me all the time, what’s the craziest thing you’ve seen? You must see so much shit.”
She laughs, then adds, “I’ve been at LIV for about nine years, and I’ve been bartending for 18. I’ve seen it all.”
At first, she thought the wildest part of her job was how expensive everything was. “I’ve seen tabs over $300,000,” she says. “I watched someone order the biggest champagne… and it was like $150,000. And they poured it out just to be cool, just for attention.”
Then she shares a story from her early days that she still remembers.
“One of the craziest things I’ve seen was the amount a waitress got tipped,” she says. “I can’t say who tipped it, but she got a $75,000 tip.” She pauses, shakes her head, and repeats, “$75,000. That shit’s crazy.”
How Much Do Miami Bartenders Really Make?
Working behind the bar in Miami isn’t your average hospitality job. According to Glassdoor, a LIV Hospitality employee earns anywhere from $35,000 to $63,000 a year, depending on experience and position. But the real money, as Chloe’s story proves, comes from tips.
For many high-end bartenders in South Florida, gratuities can add $8,000 to $15,000 per year, and that’s a conservative estimate. On a good night, one table could change your entire month.
Florida’s tourism scene also keeps the industry thriving year-round. Warm weather, destination events, and luxury tourism attract guests who spend generously.

Commenters Couldn’t Believe It
In the comments section, people were stunned by the sheer size of the tip and by how normal Chloe made it sound.
“$75k and I’m out here solving rocket scientist problems for less,” one user wrote.
Another joked, “Me tonight when my table walked in and the first bottle he ordered was $9k.”
Some viewers claimed they might’ve even seen the same night Chloe was describing. “WAIT I think I know exactly who you’re talking about,” one person commented. “The guy who poured it, I watched it happen. There was a massive plastic bucket under them and everyone was just filming.”
Other service industry workers chimed in. “I’m in Dallas and been doing this for a long time,” someone said. “I’ve seen girls make 10k in one night off one table. LIV does even crazier numbers.”
