Former The Sopranos star Michael Imperioli, who most recently put forth a well-received performance in season two of the hit HBO anthology series The White Lotus, is obviously quite angry with the recent rulings made by the Supreme Court.

Taking to Instagram over July 4th weekend, Imperioli declared that he is ‘forbidding bigots and homophones’ from watching his work as a result of recent Supreme Court decisions.

“I’ve decided to forbid bigots and homophobes from watching [any projects] I’ve been in,” Imperioli declared on social media.

“Thank you Supreme Court for allowing me to discriminate and exclude those who I don’t agree with and am opposed to. USA! USA!… America is becoming dumber by the minute.”

Imperioli’s ire stems from the Supreme Court ruling in favor of a Christian web designer “who sought legal protection to discriminate against same-sex marriages due to her religious beliefs,” according to Variety.

In the days since the ruling, however, The Washington Post has reported that the man identified as “Stewart” who was named by the web designer in the court case, said that not only did he never ask her to create a website but that he isn’t gay and has been married to a woman for 15 years.

In addition to the Emmy-winning HBO duo of The Sopranos and The White Lotus, Imperioli has appeared in episodes of television shows such as Law & Order, Girls, The Office, Californication, Hawaii Five-0, Lucifer, Blue Bloods, and more.

Furthermore, Imperioli’s film career includes performances in films such as Lean on Me, Goodfellas, Malcolm X, Bad Boys, The Basketball Diaries, Dead Presidents, Shark Tale, The Lovely Bones, Oldboy, One Night in Miami, and even a brief voice role in The Sopranos prequel film The Many Saints of Newark.
