Red Robin is the top trend on social media tonight and it’s probably not the publicity the national chain restaurant wants.
On Saturday night, U.S. Representative from New York Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took to Twitter to urge New Yorkers to practice social distancing by staying indoors and not crowding restaurants to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
To everyone in NYC but ESPECIALLY healthy people & people under 40 (bc from what I’m observing that’s who needs to hear this again):
PLEASE stop crowding bars, restaurants, and public spaces right now. Eat your meals at home.
If you are healthy, you could be spreading COVID.

Ocasio-Cortez’s tweet didn’t sit well with former Miss Nevada Katie Williams who proudly boasted about being thirty years old and going to Red Robin to eat during the coronavirus crisis because she’s “in America” and she’ll do whatever she wants.
I just went to a crowded Red Robin and I'm 30.
It was delicious, and I took my sweet time eating my meal. Because this is America. And I'll do what I want.

Miss Williams then got immediately dunked on by the Internet for bragging about going to Red Robin out of all places.

Find you a girl that thinks Red Robin food is delicious said no one ever.

Virologist here. You don't know if you are carrying a virus if you haven't been tested. You can expose others by being close to them or touching shared surfaces, such as by eating a gross Red Robin burger with your hands in a crowded restaurant bc you are ignorant and selfish. https://t.co/gTXsvbJrUf

Matt Colvin: I got 18,000 bottles of hand sanitizer I can't sell in my garage. I lost the internet today.
Red Robin Katie Williams: hold my beer.
