Liz San Millan, a student at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, was recording herself while practicing for a school audition. During her rendition of “Kindergarten Boyfriend” from “Heathers: The Musical”, Millan heard noises coming from above her head.
She tried her best to ignore the commotion and continue singing but the sounds were hard to ignore once her mom came crashing through the ceiling and into her bedroom.
“There was a loud noise … I turn around and all of a sudden, my mom’s leg is through the ceiling,” Millan told “Good Morning America.”
“My dad said, ‘Did you just fall through the ceiling?’ and [my mom] said, ‘You’re not going to ask if I’m OK?’ She was a little sassy about it, actually,” laughed Millan.
She posted the video to TikTok for the world to enjoy.
Millan told GMA she and her parents laughed about the incident for at least a half an hour and mom was totally cool with posting the video online.
So what the hell was mom doing up in the ceiling? She was in the attic searching for luggage. Mom tripped and put her legs right through wooden beams.
Millan is in school in New York now. Mom and dad are back home in Texas, patching up the hole in her bedroom.
