Onslaught is Arjona’s only film role this year. In the coming years, however, she’s about to become even more popular as she’ll be starring opposite Oscar winner Michael B. Jordan in his remake of The Thomas Crowne Affair, and has been cast in James Gunn’s Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow.
While intitial reports indicate that Arjona has been cast as the character Maxima, many fans believe that’s actually a cover to hid that she’s actually been tapped to play Diana Prince/Wonder Woman.
She’s also attached to the films Alpha Gang and Scorn, both of which are in post-production, and has a main role in the upcoming Prime Video series Criminal.
Arjona made her feature film debut in 2016’s The Belko Experiment and has since become one of Hollywood’s most sought-after young actresses following roles in films such as Pacific Rim Uprising, Tripe Frontier, 6 Underground, Morbius, Father of the Bride, and The Absence of Eden.
Her career took a massive leap forward in 2023 with her starring role in Richard Linklater’s Hit Man opposite Glen Powell, and she has since starred in the films Los Frikis, Blink Twice, and Splitsville, and the acclaimed Star Wars series Andor.
