The Pabst Blue Ribbon ‘Family Pack’ is being sighted at select locations across the country as PBR has released a 99-pack of beer just in time for the holidays. Anyone who thinks the PBR 99-pack / Family Pack is overkill has obviously never played an intense game of Wizard Staffs because this exactly what the doctor ordered when the goal is to drink massive quantities of beer and tape it together.
According to reports, the Pabst Blue Ribbon 99-pack was first spotted at store in Minnesota and it sold out before most people had any idea of what was happening.
The name ‘Family Pack’ is a double-entendre here, referring to sharing 99 beers with friends and family and also referring to the Pabst Blue Ribbon ‘family’ of beers because this 99-pack of PBRs includes cans of the regular/original, the ‘Easy’, and the ‘Extra.’ This is EASILY the largest variety pack of beer I can think of or have ever heard news about.
The 99-beer PBR ‘Family Pack’ will measure SEVEN FEET IN LENGTH and weigh 80 pounds! It’s expected to be sold for $74.99 if you can find one. That store in Minnesota that had them sold out in less than 24 hours. So I’d suggest acting fast if you see one on the shelves.
Images have been circulating online of the PBR Family Pack but it all seems a bit like spotting Big Foot to me since I haven’t laid eyes on one yet myself. Pabst Blue Ribbon teased their 99-pack on Instagram and the case is so damn large it took them three photographs to get it all in one picture:

According to Fox News, this 99-beer PBR ‘Family Pack’ will be available across these fifteen states: Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.

I’ll be honest, as far as Christmas gift ideas go this one is going to be hard to beat. The $75 price point is cost-prohibitive. It’s a cool novelty item. And it will be extremely appreciated depending on who you give it to. Also, if you want to spend a little more $, PBR has some interesting streetwear available on their website that you can pick up as well.
