Paramount+ Releases Unhinged Super Bowl Ad Featuring Sir Patrick Stewart Throwing ‘Hey Arnold’ Into A Mountain To The Tune Of Creed’s ‘Higher’

While Super Bowl ads have consistently become increasingly insane over the years, this fever dream from Paramount+ may take the cake.

Released a few weeks ahead of the actual Super Bowl — which has become quite common in recent years — the commercial features a group comprised of Sir Patrick Stewart (in a 1930s football outfit), Master Chief from Halo, Knuckles from Sonic the Hedgehog, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, Arnold from Hey Arnold, Jeff Probst from Survivor, Peppa Pig, Drew Barrymore, Lieutenant Jim Dangle from Reno 911!, and Dora the Explorer atop “Paramount Mountain”.

After Tua tries and fails to throw a football over the peak, Sir Patrick Stewart then steps up to the fore and chucks Arnold face-first into the frozen rock wall instead, all whilst Creed plays their famed tune “Higher” from a nearby ledge.

Don’t believe me (frankly, after seeing that collection of words grouped together in a sentence, I wouldn’t either)? Check out the ad below.

This year’s Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will be broadcast by CBS, which, similar to Paramount, is owned by Viacom, meaning NFL fans could be in store for tons of Paramount+ advertising throughout the game.
