Pat McAfee has joined the cast of the animated Disney movie 'Hexed'
Having already infiltrated virtually every corner of ESPN, former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee is now spreading to another Disney-owned entity: its animation studio. On Monday, it was announced that McAfee has been cast in the upcoming Disney movie Hexed.
Walt Disney Animation Studios announced on Monday that Pat McAfee is part of the voice cast for Hexed, an original animated film hitting theaters November 25, 2026. The studio also released a new trailer and poster, along with a bevy of new voice cast announcements.

In addition to McAfee, Disney’s press release also confirmed that Cheri Oteri, Kathy Najimy, Wayne Knight, Alan Tudyk, Randall Park, Chris Parnell, Rachel Dratch, Ariana Madix, Yvette Nicole Brown and Drew Galloway would round out the rest of the cast.
Henry Winkler also joined the cast as Nigel, a “skittish potoo bird who knows the secrets of the magical world of Hexe”, while Dan Stevens will be voicing Hieronymous, the Grand Councilor of the Throne for Queen Celeste.
The film follows Billie Doe (Steinfeld), an “impulsive teenager who discovers secret magical abilities that send her from suburbia into a vast witch realm where she teams up with her cautious mother, Alice (Rashida Jones), to uncover family mysteries.” Walton Goggins voices Beef Roger Crummchuk, a reclusive three-eyed cat. Jodie Foster plays the sinister Queen Celeste, and Tracey Ullman and Stephen Fry also lend their voices.
Fawn Veerasunthorn and Jason Hand directed alongside Josie Trinidad as co-director, while Disney Animation Chief Creative Officer Jared Bush co-wrote the film with Dana Ledoux Miller.
Later this month, McAfee will be making his acting debut in Peter Berg’s upcoming WWII football movie The Mosquito Bowl, which will be released on October 30. Until then, you can find McAfee on ESPN’s airwaves on six of the week’s seven days.
