Paul McCartney performed at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married on Friday, July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City and legendary musician Paul McCartney was one of the attendees. McCartney also reportedly performed for the newlywed couple.
According to reports, the legendary member of The Beatles reportedly performed “I Want to Hold Your Hand” during the reception. If true, it would mark the first time that the song has been performed live by Paul McCartney since 1964.

“I Want to Hold Your Hand,” written by McCartney and John Lennon and recorded in October 1963, hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 1964 and stayed there for seven weeks, triggering Beatlemania and the British Invasion in the process. The single sold over 12 million copies worldwide.
The Beatles famously performed it on The Ed Sullivan Show on February 9, 1964, which was watched by 73 million Americans — making it one of the most watched television broadcasts in history. McCartney last performed it live on September 20, 1964, at the Beatles’ concert at New York’s Paramount Theatre and never played it as a solo artist.
