Post Malone, Jelly Roll and Carter Faith are going to have to wait to embark on the BIG ASS Stadium Tour Part 2. The start date has been postponed because tickets to the concert are not selling.

Nearly three weeks of the scheduled stops have already been canceled.

Posty claims his decision to postpone the start of his tour stems from his desire to release new music before he hits the road with Jelly. While that may be true, the upcoming album may not solve the problem.

Post Malone is heading back out on tour.

F-1 Trillion dropped on August 16, 2024. Post Malone went out on tour to perform his debut country music album on Sept. 8, 2024. All 21 stops were completely sold out or close to it. It was a big hit.

I saw Posty perform at Nissan Stadium in Nashville in October of that year and I had a great time. He played his new music, mixed in some of his biggest hits (with an added hint of twang) and invited a few local guests out to perform with him on stage, like Blake Shelton. The fireworks show was pretty epic.

As you can see, it was at full capacity. 70,000 people showed out for Post Malone’s first stadium tour.

That is not the case almost 18 months later.

Posty is going back out on tour in 2026. Most of the stops in the United States are at college and/or professional football venues, hence the name. Tickets for his second stadium tour are not selling.

The latest run was originally set to begin on May 13 in El Paso. It will conclude in Austin at the end of October after a few international performances.

Jelly Roll is providing direct support with Carter Faith as the opener for all over the shows in North America. The international stops will instead feature Don Toliver.

Low ticket sales forced cancelations.

There are less than two weeks until the original start date of the BIG ASS Stadium Tour Part 2. Except May 13 is no longer the official start date.

Post Malone released the following statement to announce its postponement:

“Hey there party people, Let me first kick this mofo off by saying – hope everyone out there is having a kickass day and spending time doing what they love with the people they love.

Looking at the upcoming schedule after stagecoach, I came to the realization that what we were trying to do, and what’s possible, isn’t really lining up. Truth is, I promised y’all beautiful people new music, and I don’t have the time to finish it before tour starts. We ain’t ready for tour just yet, so I’m making the decision to push the tour back about 3 weeks to get this music done.

That being said, I’m so sorry to the folks who were planning on coming to the few canceled shows. I was looking forward to going nuts with y’all.

Tat THAT being said, we been making some badass shit for this double album… and I can’t wait to perform for y’all again.

And to alot of little stinkers that think I’ve forgotten about ole Stoney, I haven’t…

I love you, and can’t wait to see you crazy soon 💕 🙌

The stops in El Paso, Waco, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Tampa, Oxford and Charlotte are cancelled. The first concert of the tour will now take place in Indianapolis on June 12.

Post Malone has not released an official album release date as of this writing. However, if the goal is to generate interest in the stadium tour and increase ticket sales, I would guess it drops around May 22.

It could be a real problem if the new double album does not sell tickets. A disaster, even.

This is how things look for Indianapolis to begin the tour:

The Connecticut stop is not any better:

Cleveland isn’t great either:

Even Nashville is struggling: (Dark blue means there are a lot of tickets available in the section)

You get the idea. There are still a lot of empty seats at almost every stop on the tour. Post Malone had to cancel the first month of his tour. He may have to cancel the rest if his new album doesn’t help sales.
