Rage Against the Machine is reuniting. This is not a drill. Rage Against the Machine will be playing at Coachella. This is not a drill. Rage Against the Machine will go on a reunion tour. This is not a drill.

After rumors swirling on the internet of Rage Against the Machine getting back together, Forbes confirmed reports.

Longtime Rage Against The Machine associate Wayne Kamemoto confirmed that the legendary band was reuniting. “The band’s social media is accurate,” Kamemoto told Forbes. Consequence of Sound got confirmation from music industry sources that RATM was reuniting.

The buzz about the much-anticipated reunion was started by the Instagram account “RageAgainsttheMachine.”

The Instagram page shared Rage Against the Machine 2020 tour dates:

  • March 26, 2020 – El Paso, Texas
  • March 28, 2020 – Las Cruces, N.M.
  • March 30, 2020 – Phoenix, Ariz.
  • April 10, 2020 – Indio, Calif.
  • April 17, 2020 – Indio, Calif.

The April tour dates are for Coachella 2020 in Indio, California. The band is reportedly planning to play more concert gigs after the initial dates.

Getting the band back together means that frontman Zack de la Rocha, guitarist Tom Morello, drummer Brad Wilk, and bassist Tim Commerford will reunion. The last time Rage Against the Machine performed together was at the L.A. Rising Music Festival in July of 2011. Morello, Wilk, and Commerford joined forces with Chuck D. and B-Real in 2016 to become the supergroup Prophets Of Rage.

Tom Morello shared the same photo on his Instagram four days earlier.

Actress Juliette Lewis, who is dating Brad Wilk, follows RageAgainsttheMachine on Instagram and liked the announcement post.

Christmas has come early for music fans this week with the Rage Against the Machine reunion and My Chemical Romance reuniting on Thursday.
