Kanye West is really into masks these days and it doesn’t appear to have anything to do with COVID. The masks Kanye has been wearing appear to be more fashion statement than personal protection equipment, especially the mask he was just spotted wearing over in Italy.

Beginning with his appearance at a Big 3 basketball game back in July, Kanye West has been seen there, his DONDA listening event at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, his DONDA event in Chicago, and the Met Gala, all with his head completely covered by some sort of mask.

The mask he was just spotted wearing in Venice, Italy though… that was next level creepiness.

West was in Italy to perform at the wedding of D’Estree founder Geraldine Guiotte and Tiffany & Co. EVP Alexander Arnault on Saturday night. Of course, during his performance, he was also, you guessed it, wearing a mask.

If you’re asking yourself if it is difficult to perform while wearing a mask, the answer, according to video of Kanye attempting to do it at the wedding in Italy the answer is “yes” as Yeezy kept moving and re-adjusting the straps.

Whatever the reason for Kanye’s seemingly endless supply of new masks, especially the full head covering he wore in the airport and on the streets of Venice over the weekend, definitely got people on social media talking, and making jokes. Lot and lots of jokes.
