Do you automatically get in a bad mood when you see a certain type of car on your tail? Is there a certain car that makes you always think the owner is probably a jerk? Maybe you don’t even realize it until you really give it some thought, but many people definitely have some kind of predisposition toward disliking the owners of certain types of cars.
The folks over at custom license plate suppliers Click4reg.co.uk know what I’m talking about, so they went and analyzed Google search trends and surveyed over 2,000 drivers in order to reveal the most common impressions people have of and the most common questions people ask about drivers of several brands of cars.
As the headline of this article pretty much gave away, their research revealed that BMW drivers have the worst reputations among big brand car owners.
Guess which car brand came in second when it comes to the worst driver reputation?

⦁ Over 75% of respondents dislike owners of Fords
⦁ 68% said they like Volkswagen drivers
⦁ Over 50% said they dislike Dodge owners
⦁ 50% of respondents said they dislike Audi drivers
⦁ 32% said they dislike Subaru owners
⦁ Only 10% said they dislike owners of Toyotas
⦁ Just 8% said they dislike Volvo owners
People are also very curious to know why Nissan drivers are so bad.
The most common questions people have about all those dang BMW owners have to do with bad driving and arrogance.
7% of those surveyed said they wouldn’t date a Volkswagen driver, while 34% said they wouldn’t date a BMW driver.
A whopping 75% agreed that Subaru owners are bad drivers, while over 80% feel that Volvo owners are safe drivers.
71% felt Audi owners would be fast drivers, while Toyota drivers have a reputation (with over 60% of respondents) for being slow.
Over 60% agreed that Ford owners are angry drivers.
But they really just hate BMW drivers the most.
