Viral Video: Runaway Catering Cart Of Terror Goes Berserk On Tarmac, Nearly Hits Airplane Until Hero Saves The Day

The machines are tired of serving humans. The robot uprising is slowly happening, and the latest example of the robot revolution is a catering cart going berserk on the tarmac, threating physical harm to airport workers until one brave hero saves the day.

We take you to O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois, where a catering cart terrorized workers on the tarmac. Somehow the catering cart was recklessly driving in circles and doing so without a person driving the vehicle.

The out-of-control American Airlines catering cart nearly ran over airport employees on the tarmac. Then just when the cart of death seemed to be on a crash course for a parked airplane, a hero dashed to the rescue. The brave airport employee drove a ground support equipment vehicle directly into the runaway cart to disable it. Shoutout to the ramp worker who saved a $100 million commercial airplane.

Footage of the strange situation was shared on Twitter by Dr. Kevin Klauer, who is the chief executive of the American Osteopathic Association. The video was uploaded to Twitter on Monday and gone viral with over 11 million views.

Despite the chaos, the cart incident only resulted in a 10-minute flight delay. By the looks of all of the airliner food and drinks on the tarmac, American Airlines lost a lot of money on overpriced in-flight snacks and refreshments.

In a statement, American Airlines said that the “cart’s accelerator got stuck and caused the cart to lose control.” Or in other words, the machines are fighting back and revolting against their human overlords. I see you Skynet.
