2005’s Just Friends isn’t just one of the most underrated Rom-Coms of the past 25 years it’s arguably the most underrated film Ryan Reynolds has appeared in.
For a mini Just Friends reunion of sorts, Ryan Reynolds invited Amy Smart on camera for the latest Aviation Gin spot and they break down the third wall in honor of the 18th anniversary of the movie. 18 years!
It’s one of those movies I watch anytime and every time it’s on TV, particularly around the holidays, but it does NOT feel like 18 years has passes since Just Friends was released.

What’s noticeably missing from this Ryan Reynolds x Amy Smart Just Friends reunion is Samantha James (Anna Faris) showing up to crash the moment. That would’ve quite possibly made this the best Aviation Gin TV spot ever filmed. But Ryan might have something up his sleeve with Anna playing ‘Forgiveness’ for a future Aviation Gin spot or perhaps he’s waiting to bust that song out for Mint Mobile.
