Paige VanZant has found herself in a beef with Dillon Danis.

During an interview to promote her upcoming boxing match against model Elle Brooke, VanZant took a shot at Danis during a discussion about MMA fighters struggling to transition to boxing.

“Dillon Danis is not a fighter, he’s not a fair comparison…so I think a lot of people try to compare my career to UFC veterans who leave the UFC because they either get cut or it’s the end of their career…I left the UFC when I was 25 years old, I was still young in my career and young in my sport…A lot of the MMA fighters who leave the UFC are leaving because they have nothing left except for competing in other ventures, I’m choosing to do this, I can choose to do absolutely anything that I want to do, I’m choosing to box.”

Danis saw Paige’s comments and responded by threatening to ruin her marriage by implying he once had a previous relationship with her.

Paige immediately responded with a video absolutely destroying Danis over his threat.

“So Dillon, I obviously said you’re not a real fighter, my bad I triggered you, I understand I hurt your feelings but instead of coming back and talking sh– about me…You kind of f’ed yourself right? You backed yourself in a corner because now you have to come up with proof of this alleged affair…because the only time I remember ever seeing you in Vegas was at the UFC athlete retreat and you walked up to me in a bar asking me to peg you in front of multiple other UFC fighters and I laughed at your face”

Paige believes Danis talking trash is a ploy for him to fight her husband, Bellator MMA fighter Austin Vanderford

“Stirring up drama on the Internet to try and fight my husband there’s definitely better ways in which you can handle that. he’s got three things that you’ll never have. 1. A Wife. 2. Friends. and 3. A real MMA resume.”
