Ex-UFC star Paige VanZant is finally set to return the fight game against OnlyFans model and influencer Elle Brooke at Misfits boxing’s MF & DAZN: X Series 15.
And when she does, it appears that there may be more than just a middleweight championship and fight purse on the line.
VanZant told MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin that she’d be all about a potential OnlyFans side bet with Brooke, the reigning champion.
“There should be. There should definitely be a side bet to this,” VanZant said.”But I don’t know. She wouldn’t shake my hand (at) fight week. So we’ll have to touch back on this conversation after the fight.”
Brooke rose to fame as an OnlyFans model. She then entered the world of boxing. While VanZant became a star in the fight world via the UFC before breaking into OnlyFans.
This will be her first fight in more than two years, since losing a decision to Rachael Ostovich at BKFC 19.
Paige VanZant’s Return To Fighting Isn’t What She Had Planned
VanZant previously said she’d only return to fighting with Bareknuckle FC.
“It’s definitely bare-knuckle, and I don’t know if it’s down the road in six months, I don’t know if it’s down the road a year,” VanZant said. “I really just haven’t decided yet. I’m going to leave a lot of that up to my manager and my coaches. Just work on this time to get better and enjoy the training and not worry about signing a fight contract right away. But it’s definitely bare-knuckle.
“I love bare-knuckle boxing. I’ve now gone 10 rounds in bare-knuckle boxing and I’m searching for that victory. I’m searching for a lot of things in bare-knuckle boxing that I haven’t accomplished, and it will be with BKFC again.”
But plans change. And Misfits has quickly become one of the world’s biggest boxing promotions. Even if it’s nothing more than a sideshow.
