I’d Hate To Be The Guy Standing Behind Shaq As He Raged In The Front Row At Tomorrowland 2019

Tomorrowland is an annual EDM festival in Antwerp, Belgium that brings in an estimated 200,000+ festival attendees each weekend (there are two) for performances from the biggest DJ names in the world. It was first held in 2005 and has since blossomed into one of the biggest and best festivals on the planet.

This year’s theme is ‘Dreamville’ and they’ve created an out-of-this-world surreal setting for DJs like Afrojack, Eric Prydz, Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Kölsch, Zeds Dead, Benny Benassi, Carnage, and pretty much a million other DJs spread across close to 20 stages (I think there are 17 in total).

One of the Weekend 1 performers was Shaq who actually has HIS OWN STAGE during Weekend 2 at 2019 Tomorrowland in Belgium. Shaq aka DJ Diesel is one of the (obvious) headliners at ‘Shaq’s Fun House’ on Weekend 2, a stage that will host Carnage next Friday…There’s also full HD footage of Shaq’s Weekend 1 set below if you question his abilities as a DJ.

Shaq is easy to spot in ANY crowd. He’s 7’2″ and weighs more than 320-pounds on any given day. He’s also a global celebrity. So it didn’t go unnoticed when DJ Diesel was banging his head against the rail on weekend 1 taking in the performance of some other artists.

Here’s Shaq getting down on the rail and splashing water on the fans behind him:

I’d legitimately hate to be the guy stuck right behind Shaq for this set. It’d be cool for like 10-seconds, long enough for you to take pictures and videos on your iPhone, then you’d be wondering why the fuck he doesn’t just stand behind you and give you the good view when he can see over every single person in the crowd.

If like most people you question Shaq’s skills on the DJ table then you can check out this complete HD footage of his set from Tomorrowland 2019 weekend 1:

At first, it seemed like Shaq was booking DJ Diesel gigs because he’s a celebrity and people will pay money anywhere to see him, but he continues to book high profile gigs at music festivals and the most exclusive clubs in places like Miami, Vegas, etc.

He’s definitely doing well for himself as a DJ even if it’s nothing more than a hobby for him. Seems like a great way to get paid to travel the world without having to spend any of your own money to see new places.

Some dipshit at ESPN tweeted that first clip above over the weekend from the main @ESPN account with the caption ‘Shaq lit in the mosh pit’ and I don’t know that bothered me so much but it really f’n did. On NO FUCKING PLANET is that a mosh pit.
