It goes without saying that the DCEU has *a lot* riding on the success of 2022’s The Flash, which is set to effectively serve as a soft reboot as the franchise moves away from Zack Snyder’s vision and into the future. The fact that both Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne AND Michael Keaton’s Bruce Wayne are set to feature should tell you all you need to know about how massive of an undertaking this film is going to be, as Warner Bros. attempts to course-correct the consistently inconsistent DCEU.
The Brothers Batman aren’t the only iconic DC superheroes set to appear alongside the Scarlet Speedster in The Flash, as director Andy Muschietti (It) tapped newcomer Sasha Calle to play Supergirl in the film.
Over the weekend, set photos of Calle — who will be making her feature film debut in The Flash — in costume hit the internet, revealing that the 25-year-old looks like a spitting image of her comic book counterpart:
And I have no idea about anything to do with the film, honestly. Certainly not suggesting she's playing our Supergirl. Just saw some similarities when I saw her today. @Bruno_Redondo_F pic.twitter.com/lGyR1CMoz6
