Ever since her breakout role in Euphoria, Sydney Sweeney has become one of the fastest-rising actresses in Hollywood, and it isn’t hard to see why.

In addition to her work on the hit HBO series, the 25-year-old Sweeney is known for her performances in various shows and. movies such as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Nocturne, The Voyeurs, Under the Silver Lake, Big Time Adolescence, Clementine, Night Teeth, Pretty Little Liars, The Handmaid’s Tale, and Sharp Objects.

As a result of her exploding acting career, Sweeney has racked up quite the following on Instagram as well, where she currently has over 15 million followers and shares content such as this slideshow of photos from South Korea, which apparently included a trip to the spa.

Next up for Sweeney will be the rom-com Anyone But You, which made tons of headlines earlier this year given the flirty behavior between Sweeney and her co-star Glen Powell. While Anyone But You is currently scheduled to hit theaters this year, the official release date has not been announced.

She’ll also be starring in the 2024 Sony Spider-Man Universe film Madame Web as Julia Carpenter/Spider-Woman alongside Dakota Johnson, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced, Tahar Rahim, Emma Roberts, Mike Epps, Adam Scott, and Zosia Mamet.

Despite Sony recently delaying Kraven the Hunter — another film in its bizarre Spider-Man-less Spider-Man cinematic universe — from October of this year to August of next year, Madame Web has maintained its February 2024 release date (for the time being).

Alongside those two films, which both feel clearly designed to elevate Sweeney’s profile to another level as they’ll be her first starring roles in major studio projects — Sweeney is also currently attached to projects such as Barbarella, Echo Valley, The Players’ Table, The Caretaker, and The Registration.
