After recently having Tom Cruise as one of her guests in her suite at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Taylor Swift once again shared the VIP box with some famous fans.
Naturally, the pop star’s presence drew considerable attention. It was made even more pronounced this Sunday when WNBA star Caitlin Clark and musician Este Haim joined her at the game.
Unfortunately for Taylor Swift, the inevitable attention seemed to irritate the usually affable star this week, as she appeared annoyed by a fan recording her at the game and gestured for the fan to stop filming.
While supporting her husband, Travis Kelce, from her perch in the suite, the singer seemed to gesture to a fan on the field when she noticed the fan filming her, as if urging her to focus on the game.
A TikTok video inadvertently caught the interaction
At first, the fan seemed to be trying to talk to Este Haim, who just smiled back. Then two men who were sitting a few spots away in the row below the luxury suite got involved. In a TikTok video, one of the men asks the fan to turn around and leave the stars alone. Instead, the woman raises her phone as if to film or take a photo. That’s when Taylor Swift notices and points to the field, perhaps telling the fan that she is distracting her and her friend from watching the game.
Although no one has said for sure, many people online believe the two men were part of Taylor Swift’s security team. Even if they weren’t, they appeared to get the job done, because after their intervention, the fan put her phone away and left.
Many fans agreed with Taylor Swift being annoyed by the fan
In the video’s comments section, a number of Taylor Swift fans praised her response to the fan, while denouncing the woman who appeared to be filming her.
“I do not understand how people think this is okay even after she told you to stop you continue on until her bodyguard has to tell you to go,” one person wrote.
“People standing under her and staring has to be so annoying,” another fan commented, while someone else wrote, “Come on let her watch the game; she’s not a zoo animal.”
“How do people have zero self awareness or shame getting in someone’s face taking pictures,” read another comment. “It’s so awkward. I’m glad she told the person to knock it off and watch the game.”
