Texas Woman Opens Up Box Of Red Baron Frozen Pizza. Then She Sees What The Factory Worker Left For Her: ‘Check On Your Employees’

When you open a frozen pizza box, you rarely expect the product inside to perfectly match the image advertised on the box. The cheese often moves around, there may be fewer toppings, or it just doesn’t look as appetizing, even after baking. When one Texas Red Baron customer opened her four-meat pizza box, however, she found it staring back at her.

TikTok creator Nara (@narasamaaa) filmed the discovery and posted it to TikTok, where it got over 1.5 million views.

Instead of the pepperonis ending up in a random order, these pepperonis appeared to have been deliberately placed to form a frowny face.

“I need to know who’s responsible for this,” she says while laughing. “Who put this pizza together?”

In order to make the frowny face happen, the worker seemed to have sacrificed a few pieces of pepperoni. There were only nine on the pizza, which Nara suggested was fewer than normal.

“@Red Baron pls check on your employee,” she wrote in the caption. “Someone wasn’t have a great day.”

Why Did This Red Baron Frozen Pizza Come With A Sad Face?

It’s unlikely that the pizza being tossed around during transport would’ve created this shape. It seems that this was a factory worker’s harmless prank.

In the comments, viewers were delighted by the gloomy-looking pizza.

“Imagine opening a pizza when you’re already depressed and seeing this s—,” one commenter wrote.

Another viewer said they had the opposite experience with another frozen pizza brand.

“Omfg no way. i got the exact opposite from Digiorno a few months ago!!” they wrote.

In their attached photo, the pepperoni appeared to form a smiley face instead. This Reddit user on r/mildlyinteresting encountered something similar when they opened their frozen pizza.

Others joked that the pizza seemed to be begging for mercy.

“Don’t Eat Me,” one commenter joked.

The frowny-face pizza also prompted other workers to confess the little jokes they have hidden in their own jobs.

“i build doors and sometimes i write my name in silicone before i put a pieve together so i got my name in rich people doors,” one commenter wrote.

Red Baron’s official account also chimed in. “Send a DM. Let’s chat,” the brand wrote.

A Hope For Better Days

In a follow-up video, Nara shared the message she sent the company.

“My mother is a fan of your pizza and just like any other night she was [preparing] one of her favorite snacks but I couldn’t help but laugh at her reaction to seeing a not so happy pizza,” she wrote. “I can only hope the employee who designed our pie is having some better days (of course it’s been very rough in today’s world) but I can’t help but thank yall for making a cherished memory w me.”

She did not show a response from the company.

In another follow-up clip, Nara says she and her mom did not find the sad face pizza to be a big deal. They added some extra toppings, as they usually do, and enjoyed their snack for the night.
